Vigo di Fassa, since 2018 part of the municipality of San Giovanni di Fassa (Sèn Jan in Ladin), is a typical mountain village. So characteristic that its hamlets have been included in the club of the “Most Beautiful Villages in Italy“.

Located at the widest point in the valley, it enjoys a privileged exposure to the sun. It is also an excellent starting point for your activities, in any season: in addition to the start of the Catinaccio Cable Car from the town centre, Vigo di Fassa is only a few kilometres from the Costalunga Pass and the Buffaure-Ciampac ski area, where you can test yourself in the famous Sellaronda ski carousel.

And why not try a nice bicycle ride? The 48-kilometre Dolomites cycle trail crosses the Fassa and Fiemme valleys, also passing through San Giovanni di Fassa.
